AUTHOR´S GUIDE-

The Brazilian Journal of Neurosurgery (JBNc) is the official journal of the Brazilian Academy of Neurosurgery (ABNc). The JBNc publishes scientific articles about Neurosurgery and related areas. Each volume is annual, with 4 quarterly publications. Unpublished papers, either as originals, case reports, reviews, short notes or clinical images should be accepted.

Papers should be preferably in English, with Abstract / Key-words in English. If written in other language (Portuguese or Spanish), it should be provided a translated title, with Resumo/Resumen and Palavras-Chave/Palavras-Clave. All papers must have a title in English.

Every paper can be changed to be conformed to the general structure of the Journal.

Submitted manuscripts that do not fulfill Author’s Guide checklist or the editorials purposes of this Journal will be returned to the corresponding author for revising and adapting it.

The scientific production among academics is crucial to enlarge their knowledge. Therefore, the JBNC encourages the publication of articles whose authors are members of Academic Leagues of Neurology and Neurosurgery previously enrolled at the Brazilian Academy of Neurosurgery. At least two articles by issue will be allocated to members. These articles should follow the same guidelines and distribution by categories.
