Abstract

Management of normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) involves clinical, radiological and special tests for the diagnosis and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) diversion in appropriately selected patients. Surgical treatment should be offered to patients selected by analyzing various means available for predicting shunt responsiveness.
